The ASRT Student to Leadership Development Program is a three-year program that offers students a chance to get to know the ASRT and OSRT, attend educational sessions, and network with medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals. Selected participants attend the 2024 ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in Orlando, Florida on June 27-30, 2024.

Applications close on November 10, 2023 and participants will be notified no later than December 15th, 2023. Information and correspondence from ASRT will begin in January 2024. Up to two student OSRT members will be selected to participate. Those selected will be required to complete a short online application for the ASRT by November 10, 2023 as well.
Participants Receive:
- Airfare, housing, a stipend for meals and other travel expenses.
- An educational program designed just for students.
- A professional mentor assigned for the meeting.
- An insider’s look into the largest association for medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals.
- An opportunity to work closely with OSRT board members
- An opportunity to attend and volunteer at the OSRT Annual meeting at the Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond, OR April 12-13, 2024
Eligibility:
- Must be a student member of the ASRT and OSRT at time of submission.
How to Apply:
- Submit all required materials directly to the OSRT by November 10, 2023.
- Submit a 500-750 word essay responding to the following prompts:
- Describe previous experiences where you have demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- How would you grow professionally from your participation in the Student to Leadership Development Program?
- If selected, how do you plan on giving back to the OSRT?
- Submit a recommendation letter from your program director, which includes a statement that you have their approval to attend the 2024 ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting, June 27-24, 2024 in Orlando, Florida.

2023 House of Delegates Meeting & ASRT Annual Governance – Reno, Nevada
Each year the ASRT holds an annual meeting full of professional development opportunities, continuing education with profile speakers, and discussions on national and local legislation affecting our profession. The Student to Leadership Development participants attend this meeting – free of charge to them – to see first hand the difference the ASRT makes for technologists across the country.
